These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Savormate (the "App," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by SAVORMATE, LLC. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Savormate helps you plan meals: it generates weekly meal plans, quick meal ideas, and pantry-based suggestions using AI, lets you save and import your own recipes, builds grocery lists, and learns your taste preferences. Core features work without creating an account; signing in lets you sync your data across devices.
You sign in with your email address via a one-time link or code — we don't use passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since that's how account access is granted. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Meal plans, recipes, and nutrition estimates are generated using AI and are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and Savormate is not a medical professional or medical organization. We do not provide medical services, and your use of the App does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Savormate. Consult a physician or registered dietitian before beginning any new diet or eating plan, especially if you have a medical condition or take prescription medication. Nutrition values (calories, macros) are estimates and may be inaccurate. If you have a food allergy, medical condition, or dietary requirement, you are solely responsible for verifying that any suggested recipe is safe for you before preparing or eating it — always double-check ingredients yourself. We do our best to honor allergy and dietary preferences you provide, but AI-generated suggestions can make mistakes and should never be your only safety check.
If you use the "paste a link" recipe import feature, you confirm you have the right to use that content for your own personal, non-commercial meal planning. We fetch and process the linked page solely to extract the recipe for your use — we don't republish or redistribute it.
Free accounts include a limited number of AI-generated plans, quick meals, pantry meals, and recipe uploads per month. Savormate Plus is a paid subscription (monthly or annual) that removes those limits. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can manage or cancel anytime from the Account tab. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you're located outside the United States, you may have the right to cancel and receive a full refund within fourteen (14) days of signing up, in line with applicable local consumer protection law. We may change subscription prices from time to time; we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't want to accept the new price.
You own the recipes, pantry lists, and preferences you add. By using the App, you give us permission to store and process that content solely to provide the App's features to you (e.g., generating plans, syncing across your devices). We don't sell your content or use it to train third-party models beyond what's needed to generate your own results.
The App and its content, features, and functionality — including our design, text, graphics, and underlying software — are owned by SAVORMATE, LLC and protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Aside from your own recipes and data (see "Your content" above), you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.
Don't misuse the App — no scraping, reverse engineering, attempting to bypass usage limits, or using it to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
You agree to indemnify and hold SAVORMATE, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or a third party's rights.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated meal suggestions or nutrition estimates, and we don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions don't allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAVORMATE, LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of the App — including any adverse reaction to a suggested recipe — is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the App. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business interruption, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If you believe content on the App infringes your copyright, send us a notice including: your signature (physical or electronic); identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; identification of the material you claim is infringing; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.
You may not assign or transfer your account or any rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
If you access the App from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective Date" above. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
